Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor: When is the wedding really?

Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor: When is the wedding really?
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor may not be free to wed until the second half of 2012
That they will marry in 2012 is a given-in. Kareena and Saif have reiterated this right through 2011. However, February 14, 2012 (Valentine's Day), the date on which Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were meant to be marrying, doesn't seem like a probable date.
Reason - here's how the first six months of 2012 pans out for this couple...
January 15 they return from Gstaad, Switzerland.
January 18 Kareena starts to promote Ek Main aur Ekk Tu and shoot for her commercials.
February 11 EMAET releases.
February 14 Saif and Kareena at best can get officially engaged, say sources.
February 20 Second major schedule of Heroine begins.
March 10 Saifeena start promoting Agent Vinod that is currently scheduled for a March 23 release. The film's release has already been postponed twice until now.
April 2012 Kareena may take up a new film. While many say she is in the sequel to Once Upon A Time in Mumbai; insiders say nothing is confirmed. However, Rohit Shetty is keen to start his Chennai Express with her and Shah Rukh Khan.
May 2012 Kareena, Rani Mukherji and Aamir Khan start promotion tours for their June 1 release Talaash.
So it looks like Saifeena can marry only after June 1. Incidentally, it is being said that neither Karan Johar nor Aamir Khan are keen that Bebo gets married before the release of their movies. It may just take away the sheen from their respective films.
"Married heroines are welcome in the industry; but a heroine getting married just before the release is a 'no-no'," says a trade source.

No one tries to get fresh with me: Sunny Leone

No one tries to get fresh with me: Sunny Leone

After her eviction from 'Bigg Boss', on New Year's Eve, Sunny Leone told DT she's never had to tell a man more than once to lay off, till she met Amar Upadhyay
How did you feel after the eviction?
It was bittersweet. Bitter because I couldn't make it to the finale as a contestant, and sweet because in the New Year, I'm going to be on the outside with friends and family and as part of normal life!
How are you going to bring in the New Year?
In my hotel room, having a nice hot shower, ordering room service, watching today's episode of "Bigg Boss" to see if my friends are crying for me, and having a glass of champagne at 12 o' clock.
So you're on your own?
Yeah, I'm on my own. None of my friends and family could make it because... it's not fair that they couldn't tell anybody till today, and mere friends and family America mein hain!
When you were evicted, did you feel betrayed or angry at someone?
I think that everybody in the house except for my two friends was either mean or didn't want me there or had issues and wasn't being straight to my face. But that's ok. Now that I'm out, I don't have anything to say except I'll call my friends and won't talk to anybody else!
Did you feel a difference in the reactions to you when you told everyone who you were?
I didn't really see a difference. I know that Juhi and Sky were very proud that I said what I said and that made me feel really good. But there wasn't much of a difference in the others. What was being said behind my back, I had no idea, and what they say can't hurt me today. Their opinions are their opinions.
Amar Upadhyay tried to get cozy with you, didn't he?
I tried to handle it in an adult manner, with conversations. I'm not sure he listened to the first one, so I told him again. The first one was when he kissed my hand - I told him you have wife, kids, I respect my husband, I respect him and you should show your family the respect they deserve. We should do our task in a way that's respectful to the whole family.
During the rain dance, I told him not to, but he picked me up. Your first reaction as a woman is... you don't know what to do, how to react. You're scared kyunki you're stuck within four walls with people you've just met. It's a very difficult situation because you don't know what's going to come out of anybody's mouth, and you've watched the show - you know what's said to women and how they talk. It's not nice. You avoid the situation and handle it with as much care as possible, unfortunately.
In your work, have you felt that men assume that you'd be loose or available because you're a pornstar?
It's the first time in my entire career that I've had to tell a man more than once not to be a certain way. That's why I didn't exactly know how to handle the situation as it was coming, other than talking to him as an adult. In my real life, no one comes near me or no one even tries to get fresh or do anything - it just doesn't happen. I might work in the adult industry, but where I come from, I get a lot of respect from men. I've worked with different people, different production companies, there are different men on the sets, and never have I felt this way. It happened, he (Amar) said sorry in front of the whole world, he said sorry two more times, and I can only assume he's sincere in his apology. I don't have to see him again, that's a different matter, I guess!
On the whole, since you've been to India and you know some people here - are people here more conservative, or do they have an attitude when they hear 'pornstar'?
I don't think it's an India thing, I think it's an everywhere thing. Whichever country you go to, the US, Europe, you're always going to face these issues where people want to judge and talk to you a certain way because of your background. All you can do is change people's opinions one person at a time.
As for Amar, it doesn't matter where he's from. It's got nothing to do with India. My father's Indian, my grandfather, my great-great grandfather, my brother's Indian. Every man I know is very nice and respectful. Amar didn't come across this way, and I'm sure he's sorry.
Are Indian prudes - that thing about 'we're Indians, we don't talk about sex'?
I think it's a conservative country. I'm not sure it's a 'suppressed' thing. I think that the younger generation is trying to step out of this. It's not about sexuality, it's about how you want to be presented, and being able to do that. It's like, mom and dad, I wanna do what I wanna do, and mom and dad should accept this.
Did you know about the cross-promotion issue, about an Indian organization asking Colors to stop you from using "Bigg Boss" to promote your videos on your site?
I wasn't aware, I don't know all the details, but I do know that if "Bigg Boss" came to my company and my partner to take care of something or to fix the situation, I know that we definitely wouldn't want to tarnish a hopefully ongoing relationship with "Bigg Boss" and all the companies involved. If there was an issue, I know that my company and partner would want to handle the situation correctly so that no one is hurt and it gets fixed.
But surely "Bigg Boss" will get you more fans and customers in India?
No matter what I do, which show I do in this country, my name is always going to be associated with who I am. No one can take that away. No matter what people do, you're always going to come back to who I am. You can't stop that train. Chandna Arora

Shah Rukh reveals his New Year plans

Don't call it an item number: Mrinalini Sharma

Don't call it an item number: Mrinalini Sharma

Bollywood may boast of a bevy of actresses hailing from an army background, but Delhi-born Mrinalini Sharma is proud to be called the daughter of an IPS officer.
The model-turned-actress, who made her tinsel town debut with a cameo in the Ajay Devgan-starrer "Apaharan" and hogged the limelight in Emraan Hashmi-starrer "Awarapan" talks about her Bollywood journey.
"Both my brother and I wanted to breakaway. My brother is an assistant director who is learning the art of direction and I went on to become a model. Movies just happened. I never had dreams of becoming an actress. I went to the audition on a lark and Bollywood just happened. It wasn't strategized. The reason we could pull it off is thanks to immense of support and trust we got from home and we're lucky that way," she reveals.
After her last release, the Rajeev Khandelwal-starrer " Soundtrack", Mrinalini is looking forward to her next flick "Jodi Breakers" that hits the screens in February 2012. Recalling how she landed that role, she says, "I didn't audition for it. It happened over a single meeting. My role is very colorful one. I strive to play such interesting characters in my movies," she adds.
Working with co-stars Madhavan and Bipasha Basu was a ball, says Mrinalini. "The experience has been great so far. Bipasha is very beautiful and Madhavan is such a great co-star. He shares tips, nuances and suggestions and he is just a treat to watch and work with."
While filming for the flick earlier this year in Greece, the actress gave in to her wanderlust and extended her stay in the holiday spot after finishing her shooting schedule. "Earlier this year, someone has asked me if I had to throw a dart on a place I'd want to spend my birthday in, where would it be. I said I'd love to be in Greece. Ironically, around my birthday, the shooting of "Jodi Breakers" was scheduled in Greece! It was an amazing coincidence. I stayed back for 10 days after the film's schedule to explore Greece," she says.
Looking back at her career, which began with a cameo item number, Mrinalini says, "I have a huge issue with the term 'item' number because the word 'item' here is a gender-specific term. Moreover, the song I debuted with, had a decent video. But apart from that tag, I never had any issues with such songs, nor will I have in the future."
Ask the actress if she has eyes set on Tollywood too and she says, "I'm very open to offers from Tollywood and other film industries. I've just started out and I have a long way to go. We're actors and are not bound by language. I haven't seen too many Telugu films, but I do watch a few now and then. "Magadheera" was the last Telugu film I watched," says this glam doll, who confesses that she is a bit of a tomboy in real life.
"I'm a daredevil actually," she quips, adding, "I might not know swimming but I learnt scuba-diving and went on to become a certified scuba-diver... something that I'm proud of. I'm not fond of heights, but I want to try sky-diving someday. For now, I plan to learn to ride a bike. I'm an avid book reader. I'm also a gamer and I like beating the boys at their game," she says.

Vidya Balan: I want to get ‘dirty’ with SRK

Over a cuppa strong coffee, the boombaat Balan girl sheds her inhibitions, and in between giggles, coy smiles, dropping of eyelids (but not the pallu) she unleashes her bold instincts in this 'dirty' chat with Madhureeta Mukherjee.

Read on...
Vidya Balan: I want to get ‘dirty’ with SRK

You've transformed from the quiet, hapless gal in NOKJ to a 'boombastic' babe... I'd never got the opportunity to unleash the sexual side of my personality and this role just gave me a chance. I was completely uninhibited.

Uninhibited and how! Ha, ha... yeah, I've had a blast shooting for it. It was very liberating and a huge challenge as an actor. I'm glad I got over the awkwardness and just went for it.

Were you wary of looking vulgar on camera? Fortunately, I've never been very conscious and inhibited of what I have to do. The camera's my soul mate. So it wasn't that tough.

You've put all the size-zero actresses and item girls to shame... Well, I like that. Ha, ha, ha. I think a woman should be wholesome, voluptuous and sizzling!

Emraan must have been quite disappointed as he didn't get to show his 'dirty' side this time... Yeah, he's such a jealous man. Just because he didn't get to be dirty in the film... I hate him. Ha, ha!

And the other man, Tusshar says he was nervous as hell kissing you onscreen... I think he lied. There was no nervousness. I think men can fake nervousness. He must have faked it!

How would you react if you heard someone say - 'You want sex, I am sex'... I meant that's how my character is, in the film. She's unapologetic about using her body and her sexuality as a big ticket to fame. There's no shame in doing it.

Do you think Indian women are getting more comfortable with their sexuality? Oh, definitely! And cinemais a reflection of society. So you're seeing it onscreen because it's happening in real life.

One Bollywood actor that makes you go Ooh La La? Ummmm.... Salman Khan

And one Bollywood actor you want to get 'dirty' with? A certain SRK.

What are the three easy tips to seducing a guy? Just look at him. Don't talk. And you won't even need the other two tips.
